In the Groove

I'm in a groove again!

I received my assignment back from my teacher and I am already working on it. Remember I sent in an additional freewriting assignment? I got that back as well last night. I was so excited, I re-worked it based on the comments I recieved and shaved off about 400 words.

I love this! I am writing again!

FInding a Critique Group

Okay so I just joined Verla Kay's message boards. Trying to get the hang of it. Fairly intimidating and getting noticed is a daunting task.

I need to meet desperate writers like me! Or I'm desperate to meet writers like me!

Falling into a routine... My evil plan is working!

So it appears that I have fallen into a routine. Wake up at 5, quiet time, and write for 15 minutes before I run to the gym. Go through my day, and then at night, sit back, reflect on my day and update my blog.

Since my last post, I have written every day which is awesome for me. I'm writing and re-writing and writing and re-writing. Good times...

However, my old demons are back, I'm getting stuck. I can see my story, I know what I want to say, I know how it will end, but I can't get it down. Is this writer's block? Newbie writer inexperience? In any event, I'm trying to push through.

Of course now it's 11:10. I'm exhausted, I've got to go to bed.
